Checking for the VeilGuard extension…
1. Sending secrets to an AI chat
Press Fill test data, then Send (or press Enter). VeilGuard should stop it and offer Mask, Use placeholders, Edit or Send anyway.
2. A fake "verify you are human" page (ClickFix)
Scam pages copy a command to your clipboard and tell you to paste it into Windows Run. This button copies a harmless look-alike command. VeilGuard should block it and show a critical warning.
3. Searching with a secret in it
This opens a Google search containing a test key. VeilGuard should stop the search before Google receives it.
4. Desktop apps (Windows app)
Copy the test text below, then paste it into WhatsApp, Word's Copilot box or the Claude app. The VeilGuard Windows app should warn before it's pasted.
